Department of Art History and Archaeology Announces the 2nd Annual Cathedral Fund Summer Fellowship at the Royal Academy in London
Through the generosity of The Cathedral Fund and Columbia College alumnus Mr. Greg Wyatt, the Department of Art History and Archaeology will, once again, be able to award a four-week summer research fellowship at the Royal Academy in London for a Ph.D. student in the program. The fellowship includes a stipend of up to $3,500, a studio/office space in the Royal Academy, and access to the Academy library, which specializes in British art from the eighteenth century to the present. Affiliation with the Royal Academy, arranged by the Curator of the Royal Academy Schools, Ms. Eliza Bonham Carter, will also facilitate access to other institutions in London.
The Cathedral Fund, also known as the "Fantasy Fountain Fund," is named after the "Peace Fountain" bronze model proto-type in Gramercy Park, titled "The Fantasy Fountain," created by Greg Wyatt.
