Meetings

For the Fall 2003 semester we are meeting Tuesdays at 8:15 pm in 707 Hamilton Hall to discuss various philosophers and their writings. We have discussed Augustine himself, Pieper, Newman, and John Paul II's encyclical, Fides et Ratio. Topics are varied and to be determined. Please e-mail us for information about topics.

How to Get Here

Unless otherwise noted, our lectures are located in Hamilton Hall on Columbia University's Morningside Heights campus in Manhattan and are free of charge.

Hamilton Hall is on the southwest corner of the intersection of West 116th Street and Amsterdam Avenue (see map below). The entrance is on the south side of the building. Hamilton is one block east of the 116th Street Station of the Broadway 1/9 (red) lines. Those prefering the scenic route can take the M104/M4 bus on Broadway or the M11 on Amsterdam. For those driving(!), there is often free parking along 116th Street, Morningside Avenue, and 120th Street. Additionally there is a parking garage on 114th Street at Amsterdam and the University runs a parking garage at 119th on Amsterdam.
