ABOUT US
You don't know us yet? Well you should! We're Columbia University's Badminton Club, the only on campus badminton organization that caters to Columbia students, faculty, staff, alumni, and affiliates. Whether you want to play competitively, hit around, or even just check out the hot guys and girls, you've come to the right place. Our goal is to provide you with an on campus badminton experience where you can get your daily exercise in, improve at the game of badminton, and socialize with other fellow badminton-ers, all at the same time!
Don't worry if don't have your own badminton equipment - we provide feather shuttlecocks for all club members and rackets for those who do not have their own. All you have to do is get out of that dorm room and get yourself to the gym!
Membership Dues
Ah...what everyone hates. But what is also essential in keeping the club up and running so that not only will you have courts to play at, but also birdies to play with. You're first visit to the club is on us, but after that the doors are closed unless you bring the money!
Club membership is limited to CU affiliates with a current Dodge Fitness Center membership. The CUID must also have an up-to-date sticker on it, which can be obtained from the ID Center (204 Kent Hall).

Coaching
Coaching is informal for general club members. Most people are willing to give you tips here and there - just ask! If you are on the team, you will have the opportunity to train with and receive instruction/advice from fellow team members. (Please refer to Team section on website)
Tournaments / Competitive Play
There are a few tournaments throughout the school year, mainly intercollegiate matches against other universities in the northeast region. Tournament spots are limited to team members only. (Please refer to Team section on website)
