    Neighborhood

Two blocks south of Columbia University, the Bayit sits in a very nice Neighborhood where many students live, eat, and have fun...
Central Park is only a five minute walk away.

Columbia seniors often warn freshman against "spending all their time in Morningside Heights". Why? Because it is a great neighborhood.

The bayit is sandwiched between Central Park and Riverside Park, two great places to go for a walk, run, roller blade, or bike...
There are lots of fun places around and you don't need to leave the nighborhood. Unless, you know, you want to explore New York City.

Neighborhood Let's get closer and focus on our corner: 112th and Broadway. It is a famous corner thanks to Seinfeld (The view of their restaurant from the outside is actually shot on 112th street - Tom's Restaurant).

So don't be surprised to see tourists taking pictures in front of Tom's.
