The Fulton Fish Market may be shipping its business out to the Bronx.
As a result of Mayor Giuliani's recent crackdown on the operation long suspected of being linked to the mob, as well as last month's fire that damaged much of the historic market, fish dealers have threatened to pull out of their South Street Seaport location.
Lawyer Joseph Forstadt, who is representing the dealers, said they are looking into the borough as a possible new home, but he would not say exactly where.
Forstadt said that seafood dealers have already spoken to several Bronx real estate brokers but are still weighing their options.
Leaders of the three major trade associations -- the Fulton Fishmongers Association, the New York Fishdealers Association and the Fish Dealers Sidewalk Association -- are also discussing sites in Brooklyn, Yonkers and New Jersey.
