Our theme for Black Heritage Month 2009 is:
The Plurality of One
 | Held each February at Columbia University, Black Heritage Month (BHM), which is advised and overseen through the Office of Multicultural Affairs, celebrates the rich culture, history and political contributions of the black Diaspora. Annually, BHM features a Fashion Show, Semi-Formal, Talent Showcase and an Opening Reception, alongside panel discussions, film screenings, art shows, and much more. The BHM Committee facilitates the month’s programmatic offerings. |
