I was reading your lecture notes and I got a bit confused about Delta Go and Delta G. You wrote, on the 3rd page, 2nd paragraph (which starts with"Why make such a fanciful and arb...situation?"), "The Delta Go reflects the nature of the reactants and products without regard to their concentration." I don't understand this statement. Because earlier you wrote that the condition for Delta G = Delta Go is 1 unit concentration. So then what is Delta Go? And what is Delta G?
What I should have said was that Delta Go reflects the nature of the reactants and products without regard to differences in their concentrations (since all are set to 1).
