Prerequisite: biochemistry. Papers will be assigned dealing with protein
transport across biological membranes and chaperone-assisted protein
folding. Students are expected to present a one-hour seminar on an
assigned topic.
This course will be offered only once, in Spring
1999, and will not be
repeated in future years.
