Thus you may want to look at the Courses page, the Requirements page, and especially, the Faculty Thesis Sponsors page.  We are excited about the recent introduction of thesis sponsorship by many faculty at the Medical School at Columbia in addition to faculty from the Department of Biological Sciences.  This expansion allows graduate students to choose from among approximately 50 laboratories for their Ph. D. research.
