 | Hi, everyone, my name is Ruixue Fan. I grew up in Lianyungang, a beautiful seaside city in Jiangsu Province, China. I graduated from Peking University with a B.S. in Biological Science. During my undergraduate study, I worked in two different labs focusing on cell mobility and plant development separately. These research experience taught me how to do bench work and commited myself to basic research.
In Columbia, I would like to study gene regulation related to diseases. I am also interested in understanding the molecular networks from a genome-wide scale with the application of high throughput technologies and computational methods.
In my spare time, I like listening to pop music, watching movies and shopping. |
