grew up in China and received my B.Sc from McGill University in Montreal,
Canada. I majored in Biochemistry and minored in Economics. During my school
years, I had the honor to work in Dr. Kalle Gehring's lab to study the
functions and mechanisms of bacterial effector proteins using X-ray
crystallography and NMR. From this experience, I found my passion about
structural biology, and I really hope to learn more about this field.
like doing volunteering work. During my undergraduate studies, I became a
volunteer of the First-year Office in McGill to organize events for freshmen.
Also, I join a charity club called ‘Dream Corps' to help raise the awareness of
reading and education for children among the rural areas of China.
love music, books, sports and hanging out with friends. I am really excited
about going to Columbia to meet new people and to explore NYC.
