Live Animal Safety Training
 

All individuals that will come in contact with animals must complete a Columbia University Health History for Students and Personnel with Animal Contact Form.

Upon completion of the Columbia University Health History for Students and Personnel with Animal Contact Form, please contact Student Health at your respective campuses:

Non Columbia/Barnard Students: Ask the lab supervisor to contact Workforce Health & Safety (WHS) @ (212) 305-7580 to schedule a medical clearance appointment on your behalf.

Once you are cleared by Student Health and have attended the Vertebrate Training Lecture, which will be offered on the Morningside campus on the first day of the program, you will attend Rodent WetLab with Bev Shelton (bs2678@cumc.columbia.edu). Bev Shelton will contact you with dates and times of WetLab.

 
YOU MUST HAVE BEEN CLEARED BY STUDENT HEALTH AND HAVE ATTENDED THE VERTEBRATE TRAINING LECTURE IN ORDER TO ATTEND THE WETLAB!!!
