Editorial Internship with the Life Sciences Textbook Division at W. W. Norton & Co.:The life sciences department at W. W. Norton & Co., a leading publisher of college-level textbooks, is looking for a junior or senior undergraduate student studying science with an interest in educational publishing. Applicants should be interested in applying their knowledge of biology, microbiology, evolution, and/or biochemistry to analyze trends in undergraduate science textbooks. Other duties will include assisting with manuscript preparation, book review programs, and market research. Ideal candidates will be organized, detail-oriented, independent workers with strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as a demonstrated ability to apply factual knowledge to analysis of varied situations.

Interns will be paid $7.25/hour for up to 20 hours per week. Specific work hours are flexible, but interns usually work two to four days per week. Juniors, seniors, and recent graduates preferred.
