| Course Description | Prerequisites: BIOL BC1500, BC1501, BC1502, BC1503 or equivalent, college-level algebra or the equivalent. General Educational Requirement: Quantitative and Deductive Reasoning (QUA) Introduction to basic principles of statistics and experimental design. Topics include common statistical procedure, analysis of data, sampling populations, power analysis, and the design of experiments. This course differs from traditional statistics courses by explicitly integrating statistics into research process. |
