Fundamental methods and concepts of the randomized clinical trial; protocol development, randomization, blindedness, patient recruitment, informed consent, compliance, sample size determination, cross-overs, collaborative trials. Each student prepares and submits the protocol for a real or hypothetical clinical trial.
