Course Description Prerequisites: (MATH UN1201) and (BIOL UN2005) and (BIOL UN2006) and (CHEM UN3443) or (CHEM UN2545) or or equivalent. Chemistry. Topics include biomicroelectromechanical, microfluidic, and lab-on-a-chip systems in biomedical engineering, with a focus on cellular and molecular applications. Microfabrication techniques, biocompatibility, miniaturization of analytical and diagnostic devices, high-throughput cellular studies, microfabrication for tissue engineering, and in vivo devices.
