Course Description Prerequisites: Linear Algebra, Partial Differential Equations, Fourier Analysis and Computer Programming, or with instructor's permission. Fundamentals of modern medical functional imaging. In depth exploration of functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), arterial spin labeling (ASL), and positron emission tomography (PET). Human brain anatomy, physiology, and neurophysiological bases underlying each functional imaging. Statistical and digital signal processing methods specific for functional image analysis. Final cumulative project requiring coding in Matlab, Python, R, or C.
