Course Description | Prerequisites: CHEM BC3333 and CHEM BC3253 Corequisites: CHEM BC3271 This course combines chemical synthesis, inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry, and nanoscience into experiments with an emphasis using spectroscopy to determine chemical structure and reactivity. You will gain experience with a range of instruments, techniques, calculations, and theories. Instrumentation will include UV-Visible, infrared, near-infrared, fluorescence, and Raman spectroscopy. |
