Course Description Design and analysis of unit operations employed in chemical engineering separations. Fundamental aspects of single and multistaged operations using both equilibrium and rate-based methods. Examples include distillation, absorption and stripping, extraction, membranes, crystallization, bioseparations, and environmental applications.
