Course Description | This course explores a variety of ethical and policy issues that arise during the conduct of basic, translational, epidemiological, computational and clinical biomedical research. The course's philosophy is to facilitate and encourage students to engage with Columbia faculty members who can speak from their own experience on ethical questions that can arise during the conduct of scientific research. Course sessions include lectures, discussion periods, and analyses of case studies.
