| Course Description | Prerequisites: Writing sample required to apply; see instructions in the preface to the Creative Writing section for details. A further study of poetic practice for committed student-writers with considerable experience in writing and reading poems. In the classroom student poems and ideas about poetics are shared, questioned, and critiqued. Readings in and critical interpretation of traditional and contemporary poetry will also be required. |
