| Course Description | Prerequisites: Enrollment limited to 15 students. PLEASE NOTE that in spring 13 semester, this will be an L-course--there will not be a departmental sign-up sheet for this class. Interpretive strategies for reading the Bible as a work with literary dimensions. Considerations of poetic and rhetorical structures, narrative techniques, and feminist exegesis will be included. Topics for investigation include the influence of the Bible on literature. |
