Course Description This course brings graduate students interested in Vietnam Studies together across field lines and period focus to discuss some foundational questions of historiography and methods within the field.  We have striven to combine key conceptual or theoretical work with examples drawn from the specific context of the study of Vietnam.  The course is intended to provide a common vocabulary for the discussion of Vietnam Studies.
