Course Description This course offers a comprehensive understanding of the trends and challenges associated with the provision of cross-border commercial, investment and wealth management/private banking services. We will study the evolution of the global financial system over the past 30 years and explore how banks tend to make their decisions regarding the scope and the geographical reach of their operations in response to geopolitical and economic circumstances, systemic crises, regulatory developments, technological challenges, evolving competitive dynamics at home and abroad and, last but not least, the COVID-19 crisis.
