Course Description Prerequisites: three terms of calculus and linear algebra or four terms of calculus. Fourier series and integrals, discrete analogues, inversion and Poisson summation formulae, convolution. Heisenberg uncertainty principle. Stress on the application of Fourier analysis to a wide range of disciplines.
