Course Description Prerequisites: Two years of Sanskrit or the instructors permission. Prerequisites: Two years of Sanskrit or the instructors permission. The two levels of advanced Sanskrit are given in alternate years. In 2017-2018 court literature (fall) and literary criticism (spring) will be offered; in 2018-2019, philosophy. Close reading of major works, exploring both philological and literary-theoretical aspects of the texts. No P/D/F or R credit is allowed for this class.
