| Course Description | This is the first clinical experience with pediatric patients for the PNP student. The student will be responsible for developing objectives and sharing them with the preceptor. The skills needed to obtain a good history and physical will be honed and further developed. When possible, the student will proactively seek opportunities to practice clinical skills of vision screening, hearing screening and venous access. The student will develop their skills in developmental and mental health screening. |
