Course Description A research and writing workshop designed to help students plan and execute a major research project, and communicate their ideas in a common scholarly language that crosses disciplinary boundaries.  Content is determined by students' thesis topics, and includes general sessions on how to formulate a proposal and how to generate a bibliography.  Students present the fruits of their research in class discussions, culminating in a full-length seminar presentation and the submission of the written thesis.
