Course Description Prerequisites: Three years of college Russian and the instructor's permission. Either term may be taken separately. W4333x: Systematic study of problems in Russian syntax; written exercises, translations into Russian, and compositions. W4334y: Discussion of different styles and levels of language, including word usage and idiomatic expression; written exercises, analysis of texts, and compositions. Conducted entirely in Russian.
