Course Description Explores narratives of family, childhood and citizenship constructed in Latin American Welfare Regimes. Considers how Children’s Welfare and Children’s Rights are a cornerstone in the historical building and present reform of social policy and social protection in Latin America. Interdisciplinary focus ranges across anthropology, sociology, history and cultural studies.
