Course Description Topics in Modern Statistics will provide graduate students with an opportunity to study a specialized area of statistics in more depth and to meet the educational needs of a rapidly growing field. Recent and future offerings are Fall 2017 Statistical Graphics, Spring 2018 (1) Applied Machine Learning for Financial Modeling and Forecasting, Spring 2018 (2) Applied Machine Learning for Image Analysis.
