FREE MEDITATION SESSIONS

These sessions explore Meditation and Wisdom to give a glimpse of how we can live life to its full potential. Sessions are experiential and ( These sessions help students eliminate stress, gain calmness and clarity and work towards improving health-physically, mentally and emotionally.) interactive.

 

 

FREE YOGA CLASSES

Date: Saturdays
Time: 11:00 AM
Where: Carleton Cafe, 4th floor of S. W. Mudd Building
Who: Faculty, Students and Staff (no RSVP required)

Information:
Through these weekly yoga classes, students are encourage to get in touch with their bodies and their breath as they move through a series of poses. Students are introduced to both the physical and philosophical side of yoga, giving them the tools to cope with the many stresses of life. The class is suited for long-time yogis as well as students trying yoga for the first time. The club provides 20 mats on a first come, first serve basis. Students with their own mats are encourages to bring them. Students should dress comfortably and come ready to move.

 

FREE KNOWLEDGE SESSIONS

Date: Alternate Sundays (02/26, 03/11, 03/25, 04/08, 04/22, 05/06)

Information:
The purpose of these sessions is to gain an in - depth understanding of things and situations that come up in everyday life. Here we will watch talks by some of the world's leading scholars on inner management, followed by a brief discussion. The topics covered in the sessions will provide an introduction to the amazing potential for inner change and a means to take the first steps. Come if you're looking to increase your productivity and interested in a practical approach to spirituality. (30- 35 min session, followed by 20 min of discussion.)
