CARING at Columbia is an integral part of the training of child and adolescent psychiatry residents at Columbia University. As an elective in the training program, the CARING model is unique in its humanistic emphasis.

Each semester, art therapy interns from New York University and the School for Visual Arts work at CARING internships in which they are able to put into practice the theoretical work of their classrooms.
