General Information Once you have reserved a space for your event, standard orders may be placed in one of three ways for your convenience: Telephone: 212.854.4630 Fax: 212.854.5840 E-Mail:catering@columbia.edu After we have received your order we will send you a fax confirmation. This will give you the opportunity to look over your order and make any necessary changes. It is necessary to sign off on the order and fax it back to Columbia University Catering. We suggest a personal meeting to discuss all special events. Please note your order will include a service charge. The service charge will be applied to all orders above $100. The service charge is capped to $75 on drop-off orders not requiring staff. For orders requiring staff, the service charge is applicable and in these cases, there is no cap. There is also a $15 delivery charge on orders up to $100. As part of the University's commitment to reduce its environmental footprint, Columbia Catering offers all clients New York Springs bottled water. It flows directly from a spring and into an on-site bottling facility where it is filtered, ozonated and ultra-violet purified. It is packaged in a more compact and environmentally friendly container and is not chemically treated. Please inquire about using this product at your catered events and meetings. Flavored waters are also available on request. Columbia Catering also offers natural water service for events. Please inquire about the cost of renting water containers at your event.
