TeachingProfessors Costa and Holmes teach a number of courses in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, where course offerings, course content, and teaching assignments vary somewhat from year to year. Therefore, the links at left will give you an idea of the content of the courses we teach but may not reflect the most recent offering of the course. If you are teaching a related course and interested in more information or solution sets, please feel free to email us (links at right). In addition to formal teaching of undergraduate and graduate students, we offer a number of undergraduate and graduate students opportunities to learn about research through independent projects in the lab (see People) and do outreach to K-12 students interested in science and biomedical engineering. One of these outreach efforts is participation in the American Physiological Society's Frontiers in Physiology program, which brings high school teachers to the lab for the summer to help connect the teachers and their students to current research.
