Hello. This is the page of the Columbia Buddhist Meditation Group, a student group at Columbia University in New York dedicated to exploring the benefits of meditative practice in its many forms.
This page may be replaced with something prettier in the future, but for now, here are the basics:
During the school year, we meet on Tuesdays and Sundays at 8:00PM. On Sundays, we meet in the basement of St. Paul's Chapel. Usually we are in the Red Room, but sometimes we'll be in the adjacent gallery. On Tuesdays, we meet in Metta House, which is on the first floor of McBain Hall.
Though we are the Buddhist Meditation Group, we welcome practitioners of other traditions, whether to meditate alongside us or to teach a practice. We're pretty easygoing people.
If you have any questions or comments, feel free to contact Buzzy Cohen.
MeditateNYC is a good site to check out if you want to keep abreast of meditation-related events in New York.
