Community Outreach
Columbia Community Outreach is Columbia's university-wide day of community service. Students, faculty, administrators, and staff from throughout CU come together to give back to New York City and have fun at the same time.

Scheduling for Fall 2K
Having problems with your fall Academic Schedule? Drop by the Sophomore Class Center to speak with a dean or program coordinator. No appointment is necessary. On Monday, April 10 and Tuesday, April 11, we will have extended open hours from 9:00am - 5:00pm. Students who cannot visit the class center during these times should e-mail a dean or the program coordinator in the SCC for a separate appointment time (Dean Gatteau - rjg46; Dean Chung - knc1; Dean Wood - nw4 ; Cindy Cogdill - cfc5).

Major Declaration Night

7:00 PM - 8:30 PM. Location: Roone Arledge Auditorium
Come party and relax with your sophomore class! Pastries and Tiramisu Cake from Veniero's, Sandwiches (Kosher & Vegan, Too), Roulette Wheel w/ Prizes, and CC '02 Class Mugs for the 1st 500 sophomores. Plus a performance by Notes and Keys.

*Students will have the opportunity to complete their Major/Concentration Declaration Form and celebrate this sophomore rite-of-passage with their classmates, faculty members, and administrators. If you cannot attend, please visit the Sophomore Class Center located on the Lower Level, Wien Hall to complete the Major/Concentration Declaration Form by no later than FRIDAY, MARCH 24.

Negotiating Sophomore Decisions

518 Hamilton, 6:00pm - 7:00pm
Join psychologists Christine Li and Calvin Chin as they assist sophomores in learning how to reduce the stresses of making decisions such as selecting an academic major or concentration, selecting housing and roommates for next year, studying abroad, and resolving conflicts with family members regarding these decisions. The aim of the workshop is to help students resolve and communicate their decisions to others with a minimal level of stress.
