CCBSG WORSHIP GUIDELINES:

1.      Please keep it in mind that our worship time duration will be about 20 to 25 minutes.

2.      For song selection, please pray and ask the Lord for THREE songs for Friday's worship. For song availability, you may visit our official website http://www.columbia.edu/cu/ccbsg and click on the "worship" side bar in order to find out part of our selections. If you are interested in hymns, you may also speak to Cien at cs2174@columbia.edu to find out available resources.

 3.    Coworkers would like to suggest you considering those songs that most of our members are  familiar with.  If you are interested in leading new songs during worship, please limit it to ONLY "ONE" and please AVOID using it as the first worship song.

 4.    Please finalize your song list by NEXT TUESDAY midnight so that coworkers will have enough time to prepare ppt slide show, music as well as equipments.   Coworkers surely appreciate your consideration.

 5.  For your preparation, please make sure that you and your co-leading partner(s) know all the songs well. If you need assistance to get familiar with your songs, please don't hesitate to let Cien know. We are more than happy to help you. We would also like to encourage you to communicate, to fellowship and to pray together via email or by phone with your co-leading partner(s) during weekdays. On the Friday night which you are scheduled to co-lead worship, please join coworkers and your co-leading partner(s) to pray at 7pm in Room 103 to prepare our hearts and to seek our Lord before our meeting.  May our heavenly father be pleased with our worship and reveal Himself more and more to us.

6.  When leading worship, let's use the lyrics to help us focusing on the Lord who is our all in all. Please note that there will be NO personal sharing during worship. However, you are strongly encouraged to share your Spiritual growth, personal burdens and questions during our prayer, sharing and Bible study time. During worship, let us ONLY focus on the Lord and please Him with our joyful noise!

7. During worship, we may need to cry out to the Lord for numerous reasons. We may want to pray for cleansing, comfort, strengthening, wisdom, and more passion, etc. Thus, do pray and seek Him whenever the Holy Spirit is leading you. Additionally, when the Spirit guides you, you may invite brothers and sisters to pray during worship. May He magnify His presence among us and His glory shine upon us.

If you have any questions, concerns, or encountering difficulties to get in touch with your co-leading partner(s), please do not hesitate to let Cien know via email cs2174@columbia.edu or by phone 212 853 8394.  CCBSG coworkers appreciate your faithful serving.
