CSFC is the local chapter of CCC an international Christian organization that is dedicated to fulfilling the Great Commission. The Great Commission was Jesus' last message to his disciples before he ascended into heaven. It calls all Christians to go and share the Good News of Jesus Christ to all people of all nations in the earth. Here at Columbia University, we are committed to turning lost students on campus into Christ-centered laborers.

Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

(Matthew 28:18-20, NIV)

What does CSFC do at Columbia University?

The Columbia University chapter of CCC is committed to challenging the Columbia community with the gospel of Jesus, embracing with the love of Jesus, training by the example of Jesus, and reproducing disciples of Jesus. We believe every student deserves to have an opportunity to hear the Gospel (good news) in a clear and relevant way. Our desire is to give that opportunity to every single person.

The goal of Columbia Students for Christ is to saturate this campus with the good news of Jesus. To that end, there are various opportunities for believers to serve and grow in their walk with the Lord. Our passion is for evangelism and discipleship for we are a ministry and not just a fellowship.
