: South Lawns, Morningside Campus
Reception: Immediately following the ceremony on Hamilton Lawn
Tickets
: No tickets required for Class Day.
Academic Regalia: Required
Diplomas
: May be picked up after University Commencement on May 18, until 2:30 p.m. that day on the forth floor of Lerner Hall. After 2:30 p.m., any diplomas that have not been picked up will be returned to the Registrar's Office and then mailed to the student's permanent address.

During orientation week before their first classes, freshmen participate in the “first year run,” exiting Lerner Hall through its back doors, turning right and entering campus again through the main gates to officially become Columbia students.
