The Columbia Financial Investment Group is an undergraduate organization of Columbia University in the City of New York.
The Columbia Financial Investment Group is a collection of undergraduate students who are interested in careers in finance, focusing on the trading aspects of securities. We trade a virtual portfolio of stocks and options, but our research spans the entirety of Wall Street.
We meet every other Tuesday night at 9:00pm in Hamilton Hall (Room TBA). Each meeting, we will discuss the previous week's activity, forecast coming market moves, and evaluate potential trades. Guest speekers will be booked throughout the year.
Our aim is to encourage a passionate interest in finance and to equip all members with an intuitive understanding of markets. Any students interested in attending are welcome, and no preparation is necessary.
