The primary function of the Group is to provide members with the following:

  1. An introduction to the fundamentals of the trading of securities, for those who seek to learn more
  2. Experience in the practice of trading securities, and depending on the amount of experience the member has, this may include stocks, bonds, currencies, futures, and options
  3. Methods and techniques in analyzing and evaluating securities
  4. Increased awareness of the opportunities in the securities profession
