Congratulations to CU Chemistry student Emma J. Dell on receiving a 2011 Dow Chemical Company Fellowship Award. Emma is a student in the research group of Professor Luis Campos. The American Australian Association awards the Dow-funded Fellowships of up to $30K each year to Australian nationals for advanced study in the United States. As described on the Association website, the Fellowships "build on existing strong social and economic partnerships and foster intellectual exchange between the United States and Australia." Information about the fellowship program can be found here.
The Campos research group is interested in understanding and developing novel nanostructured materials with potential applications in renewable energy, biotechnology, and electronic devices. You can learn more about their research on their group website.
