Congratulations
to Judy Chen, graduate student entering her 4th year in Professor Turro's
research group, on being selected to receive an ACS Organic Chemistry Division
fellowship. The ACS fellowships are awarded to graduate students in their
third or fourth year of study who have demonstrated outstanding research
accomplishments during their graduate work. The fellowship stipend is
$26,000 for the 2009 - 2010 academic year. Fellows travel to the National
Organic Symposium to present a poster on their work. You can read more
information about research in the Turro group on their group website.
