“Solvation dynamics and electron-hole recombination in colloidal solutions of nanoparticles”
Part I: Recent studies of the solvation dynamics at surfaces of TiO2 nanoparticles, using femtosecond transient absorption and fluorescence up-conversion of dye probes at the interface, and the optical Kerr effect where no dye is used.
Part II: Femtosecond fluorescence up-conversion studies of the electron-hole recombination of colloidal solutions of CdSe and PbSe nanoparticles, will be discussed in light of present models.
