Principal Research Activities

Theory of liquids, molecular dynamics and Monte Carlo simulations of condensed matter including biomolecular systems; theoretical chemical kinetics, chaos in molecular systems, dynamics and structure of small molecular clusters, liquids and proteins; quantum Monte Carlo and molecular dynamics of condensed quantum systems, computational chemistry;The simulation of quantum dynamics; Design of Polarizable Force Fields for biomolecules; The Multiple Time Scale Problem in molecular dynamics; Sampling methods for rough energy landscapes; Hydrophobic interactions on large and small length scales, Protein folding.
