Background

Dali earned his B.A. in chemistry from Charles University, Prague (1990) and his Ph.D. in chemistry and biochemistry from the University of Arizona, Tuscon under the direction of Prof. R. L. Polt (1996). He was Irvington Institute Postdoctoral Fellow at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center under the direction of Prof. S. J. Danishefsky (1996-1998).

In 1998, Dali joined the Columbia faculty as assistant professor of chemistry. In the spring of 2003, he was promoted to associate professor of chemistry.
