We meet
every Wednesday in various locations in Lerner Hall (usually Ramp Lounge West). We usually meet
starting at 9 PM, but that too may be pushed later or earlier. The best way to
stay on top of the meeting times is to sign up for the weekly email! To sign up
email the chess club secretary, or any other board members.All
levels, from beginner to master, are welcome to come
play!
The chess activities each Wednesday range anwhere from
serious chess study to blitz games or bughouse. In preparation
for Intercollegiate Tournaments, we often hold qualification matches
during chess club to establish an accurate roster. So if you are
interested in representing Columbia in such a match, be sure to come
regularly!
