Travel Information
By Subway
If you are traveling from within New York City, take the
1 train to the 116th Street/Columbia University stop.
By Air
Columbia University can be accessed by flying into LaGuardia,
John F. Kennedy or Newark Airports. Taxis are available at
all airports, and will cost approximately $70 from Newark,
$45 from Kennedy or $35 from LaGuardia. Alternatively, you
can take services such as the Super Shuttle, which will cost
$15, or various train options to save money. Check the airport's
individual website for options, or feel free to contact us
for additional advice.
By Train
Amtrack stops at New York's Pennsylvania Station, located
at 34th Street and Seventh Avenue. From there, Columbia University
is accessible by subway; take the 1 train directly to the
116th Street/Columbia University stop. A cab will cost approximately
$20 from there.
By Car

of time to find out how much parking will cost for the time
you'll be here.
Lodging
Participants may stay in campus housing, which is located
at approximately 115th Street and Broadway, inside the campus
gates. A campus map can be viewed by clicking
here. Lodging for Monday and Tuesday nights is included
in the registration fee. Lodging for Sunday and Wednesday
nights is available for an additioanl fee.
