Chris Tevis
Hi, I'm the President of the Cigar Society. I'm the second president in
the history of the Society. I suceded founder Jason Deluca CC '97. My
major is Mechanical Engineering and I'm in the Class of 2001.
I started smoking cigars when I was 18. The picture above is the actual
picture of me and my first cigar, a Macanudo Portafino. If any of you
reading this have not tried this cigar, I highly recommend it. It is a
very mild cigar, perfect for the beginning smoker. Since that cigar, I
became an avid smoker. In the summer of '98 I worked at Lone Star Cigars
in Dallas, TX. I figured unless I worked at a cigar shop, I could never
afford the habit.
My favorite cigars are the Ashton 898, Hoyo de Monterrey Excalibur double
maduro, and Punch Pita double maduro. Of these, my ultimate favorite is
the Ashton 898. It's a dominican smoke, very very mild, with a slight
creamy taste to it.
Aside from smoking cigars I'm on the Varsity Lightweight Crew team,
an avid golfer, and an obsesive skydiver. If you're ever in Dallas and
you need a place to skydive try Skydive Dallas.
blue skies,
Chris
